We have news of some new laptops coming up from Hp Business notebook 6715b Battery that will be sporting the very latest Intel Ivy Bridge processors when they appear. The HP Pavilion dv4, dv6, dv7 and g4 laptops are scheduled for a release in April, as long as those Ivy Bridge CPU’s turn up on time that is.
We’ve previously spoken of other upcoming laptops due to have the new Ivy Bridge processors such as MSI’s GT60 and GT70 gaming laptops and it’s also thought that the next MacBook Air refresh and also Toshiba’s Satellite P series laptops will feature Ivy Bridge. However the big question about that at the moment is whether Intel will get those new processors out on time, as there has been talk of delays. This of course could also affect the launch of the new Hp Hstnn-c54c Battery laptops above, except for the g4, which is sticking with Sandy Bridge.
The dv4-5000 and dv6-7000 will have Core i7-3610QM 2.3GHz processors, GeForce GT630M graphics and Beats Audio. The dv4 has a 14-inch display with resolution of 1366×768 while the dv6 has a 15.6-inch display with resolution of 1366×768. The dv7-6000 has an i7-3720QM 2.6GHz processor, GeForce GT650M graphics and a 17.3-inch display with resolution of 1920×1080. If you’re opting for the g4-2000 series you’ll have a choice of Sandy Bridge chips including the i3-2350M and i5-2450M and this one has a 14-inch display with resolution of 1366×768.
